This training for the Head, Heart and Hips is enough on its own or as the perfect complement to any and all types of training styles. It is great for those who seek conscious alternative methods for strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and cardiovascular/aerobic and endurance training. Over the years friends and associates, some of which are highly accredited 10 to 20 year veterans of Yoga and experienced Pilates instructors, as well as their students asked if there were ways to accelerate their practices. They knew I had trained and studied in the Orient as well as the West and looked to a holistic understanding behind techniques rather than random movements triggered by a need to “just do something new”, fill up class time or overcome the boredom of students. They have said it helped them get beyond many sticking points and plateaus. The training corrects posture, ends back pain, develops the hard to isolate lower abdominals and eliminates love handles to go beyond core-training to compliment the work of Joseph Pilates. We open the chakras empowering people energetically, physically, physiologically and psychologically as we inspire and motivate.
Benefits of training also include Anti-Aging, Boosted Metabolim, Immune System and Libido...see other blogs for details.
Strength Training and Body Sculpting- These are non-impact resistance training methods done in a conscious relaxed Yoga, sensual dance and flowing oriental arts formats. The methods build lean, functional, aesthetic proportionate muscles and tighten and tone esp. the female trouble spots such as hips, glutes, thighs, lower abs, waistline and triceps. They are so effective that even hardcore gym goers are able to feel the burn of their muscles while even the de-conditioned beginner is enjoying being gently guided through a modified process of progressive development.
Flexibility- The stretching methods are precise, effective and gentle, go deep into the back, spine, hips and neck areas to relieve longstanding pains, tightness and even healing injuries. They increase flexibility and range of motion even in the most seasoned Yoga and Pilates instructors and students.
Balance- We accelerate development in a direct and methodical manner. Even people who have not studied Yoga find themselves able to hold a warrior three pose in a short time due to progressive innervating and strengthening of the muscles responsible for holding the asana.
Coordination- People often complain, aside from having no balance, that they lack coordination. They say they lack body control and have no rhythm at all. With this method of meditative simplified systematic kata-like dance motions based on tai-chi and chi gong, we can help anybody gain control of their body. They are soon able to move alone or with a partner with confidence and self-assurance. It is fun fat burning with no choreography.
Cardiovascular/ Aerobic/Endurance- Due to the static forms of Yoga, the root of what became the Martial Arts, and Pilates it is difficult to achieve direct fat burning cardiovascular/aerobic and endurance training. Many people have sought gym memberships just for cardio and to burn fat. This training involves relaxed non-impact cardio/aerobic movements done in a meditative state that can burn more calories and fat than spinning, an elliptical machine and far more than could ever be burned on a treadmill.
