My training is for Warriors & Lovers, Passionate Lovers who are Peaceful Warriors who dance with life, who dance with difficulty, who turn adversity into their ally, who transform their demons into their angels and are wise enough to realize they are one and the same. As Nietzsche says though, “Careful in casting out your demons, lest you cast out the best part of yourself”! A master has done the “Internal Alchemy”. A real, a true warrior knows the war is within. A true lover knows they must first love themselves before they can love another. They must love themselves enough to fight the war within themselves, the “Jihad” in Sufism. Jihad means “inner war”, a war you fight within yourself, not with another. The outer war is always an excuse, an indication that the inner war has yet to be fought. You use the other as an excuse. A master is one who can love, be compassionate, empathetic with another because they have seen and won “most” of the wars, most of the same wars within themselves. They no longer struggle “so much” with the same difficulties as the average “un-awakened” person. In love and life, you can only give what you have and you have a choice. Do you give your trash or your treasures, your gifts or your garbage? All of this depends on whether you have loved yourself enough to rid yourself of the poisons of hatred, ignorance, narcissism and neurosis. If you love your neighbor as yourself, but do not love yourself, you in turn really cannot love your neighbor.
I am a movement arts specialist. I help you experiment, explore and ultimately experience movement and yourself in a new way. My class is meta-physical fitness. It follows, as I too follow the Great Way! I myself have no way. I have given up on my own foolishness. My way is now to follow "the Way"! Mine is the Tao “the Way” of the Kata. The Kata is a meditative repetition of a motion until it becomes part of you, until you get it. Mine is the way of the Mantra. Sayings, quotes, phrases and poetry are repeated until you get “IT”! More so, until "IT" gets you! Katas and Mantras are ways of practice for human beings to "Bring Heaven down to Earth", to manifest on "Earth as it is in Heaven". Nerves that fire together, wite together. We become what we practice most. I, like Bob Fosse repeat, repeat, repeat til’ you get it right. Fosse’s favorite word is again. He was a dance warrior. He was a lover of dance. He was a movement artist. He channeled and like him, like any true artist, channel teachings for people to learn to move so that they can move others. Every movement says something. I channel understandings for people to be moved, to be moved by source energy. Even Yoga, and their can be no dance without Yoga, in India is different than here in America. In India you may practice one posture, one asana for an hour. The posture becomes perfect when the effort to achieve it ceases. You are no longer there; you have “died” into it. You have died into “IT”. As in Zen and the Art of Archery, when the teacher was teaching his student of what really happens, he said, “You do not shoot, “IT” shoots!”; “IT” being source energy. True dancers do not move, they are moved!” If people want a dance teacher, there are plenty of people to teach those mindless movement classes.
A lover’s, a warrior’s, a dancer’s purpose is to send people to GOD. A lover and a dancer’s purpose are to take their partner, their audience to God. A lover, a warrior’s and a dancer’s movements do not need to be many so much as they need to be, effective, potent, very very potent. They must each have an effect. They must affect. They must go deep into the psyche and the body of their partner, their audience. Dare I say, they must be infectious? It is said in Japan, “Do nothing useless”! You must learn to channel Tao, Zen, Tantra, Christ Consciousness, and Buddha Nature through non-verbal communication, communion through body language! The Sufi’s say, “God has no hands but yours”. Dare I say not feet, no legs, no hips, but yours? Dance is an excuse, it is a medium. The movements taught are precise, accurate, deliberate! There is power in purpose. Rumi says, “Love comes with a knife, not some shy request!” It is there to open you up, to expose your heart. He said, “I want burning, Lovers who speak are one sort, lovers who burn are another!” “If you do not burn, this is not your house!” If you do not want to burn, my classes are not for you! I teach burning. I channel teachings for people to burn! Jesus said, I come not to bring peace but a sword and fire. I am here to set fire to the world, to set it ablaze and oh how I wish it were burning now!” Hell’s fire is an ice palace compared to the Divine Fire! Don’t escape it embrace it. Gold is purified by fire. So, “Ride the burn, Burn Baby Burn!” Like the movements of a katana, the samurai sword, the body movements are used to slay, to wow, to awe, to create heat, to create energy. I am here to open you, to make you burn, to be passionate, to be alive. It is not what you do but “how”!

Pain and pleasure enter through the same door. Pain is but the seed of pleasure just as the ego is but the seed of the spirit. You cannot know one without the other in either case. You must slay the ego, the stupidity, the negative voices within or you will not make progress only excuses. The little boy in the sixth sense said, I see dead people. He was right! My training is not for those who are fear death, it is for those who fear “not living”! Say the Sufi’s, “No one gets into Heaven without crucifixion.” The ego sublimation is the price that must be paid to get into Heaven. In China, when I was being trained, I asked my teacher, due to what they were putting me through, if he was trying to kill me. He said, “Yes, the you that you think you are must die. Why would you want him to live, there is no end to the heartache, sorrow, and trouble he causes you. The idiot must die so the master can live.” This is the reason for the Sufi saying “Die before you Die!” This is the reason Jesus said, “If you try to save your life (ego) you will lose it (spirit) and if you lose your life (ego) you will save it (spirit)”! The Lover and Warrior may and should be fools from time to time, but stupid, dumb, never.
I also get a kick out of people who “think” they are wild. They think if they move a lot and make noise they are wild. Have you ever seen a truly wild animal, a black panther, a tiger, a wolf, a cobra, a cougar? They are silent. They are dangerous. Their movements are few, but precise, deliberate, exact. They are patient. They wait. Remember, it is the quiet ones that are dangerous! The quiet ones are those who prey. The noisy ones are the prey. The quiet ones are those who pray. The noisy ones are those who are the prey of society. The “prey” are many, the prey-ers, the praying are few. They are rare. They enter through the narrow gate. It is the old Chinese saying, “Better to keep your mouth closed and let people wonder if you are an idiot than to open your mouth and prove it!” Those who say much, those who do much, do not understand. Those who speak do not know, those who know do not speak! In archery, a bulls–eye is mastery, because “IT” shoots!” In golf, a hole in one is mastery. All of this stupidity with Viagra and its’ clones is just so annoying. Giving a man an erection doesn’t make him a better lover any more than giving him a golf club makes him Tiger Woods or a giving him a racket makes him Roger Federer. Woods and Federer play, “In the Zone”. “IT” plays through them. They are an excuse. The bulls-eye, the hole in one, the winner down the line, are hit before the shot is made. They are just a manifestation of what “IS”! You can’t play well unless you’re in the zone, unless you follow the way. You can’t cook unless you are on the burner! You have to hit the spot to make it hot! Burn Baby Burn!
