This is meditation in motion, this passionate moving mantra is a serious workout for the hips, glutes, legs, lower abdominals, lower back and spine. Strengthen, lengthen and realign your spine. "Relieve pain!" "Increase energy!" A great leg shaper! No more saddle bags. No more muffin tops or love handles (Love is good, handles we can do without!)

Meditatively practice deep, soulful, sensual movement “styles” like simplified Tango, Rumba, Mambo (Dirty Dancing), Salsa, Soul and Exotic dance to improve and isolate hip and body movement, coordination, and rhythm. Practice alone then later with a partner. It is a beautiful single or couples meditation. Everything in 4 steps! Actually it's Breathe 2, 3! Yes, it's that easy!

This class will prepare you to move and breathe better, to communicate with and understand your partner better. It is a moving mantra. It is a meditation in motion.The movement exercises are to be practiced alone first and then with a partner if you desire. You must first develop the ability to move rhythmically and passionately on your own. Just like you need to be able to be alone before you can be with anyone else.

Everybody “who’s honest” wants someone who can
Excite, engage, understand and relax them. In Katango we occasionally do "mirroring". This is when two people practice the same dance move across from or "with" each other in simple synchronized steps. It is a meditative energetic giving and recieving like a great conversation. This somewhat resembles the mambo step in Dirty Dancing or a simple Tango-like movement. What we occasionally do is called mirroring. This is when two people stand accross from each other or together if they like and meditatively practice a step together. It is more about the breathing and relaxing than the step. It is like a great dialogue or conversation, body talk if you will!

Head- Everyone in the world openly agrees that they want someone with a good head on their shoulders, someone intelligent and wise, someone who can keep a cool head but is passionate and alive.

Heart-Everyone also openly agrees they want someone loving, passionate and compassionate. They want someone they can talk to that is empathetic. They want someone who is romantic with a sense of humor to flat out funny, someone who makes them laugh. They want someone who is, not only, not stressed out themselves but can help them relax. They want to be relaxed.

Hips – everyone also agrees but, to be socially correct, few admit they want someone who is beautiful, healthy, sexy and turns them on. They really want someone with a perfect kiss with soft lips who can and move their hips “well”!
