When is it not time?

To me Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day are all excuses for what, if we are conscious, aware, “alive”, we would all do all the time!

Christmas: When is it not a time to give?
Why wait until Christmas to give? Why make a list and run each other over each year to complete the checklist, I mean Christmas list? The greatest gift you can give at Christmas or any time is presence? Be present for people. Make them feel worthy of your attention, not just people you know, those you don’t, those who need. This is the Christ Consciousness. This is what it is really all about. Whatsoever you do to the least, that you do unto “me”, unto you! Give and you will be given, remember?
Here’s the great secret, the great mystery. The gift is in the giving. What an honor to “be able, to be in a position to” give. It’s the only thing that let you know that the cancer of greed has not possessed taken over your soul.

Valentine’s Day: When is it not a time to love and be romantic?
Why are we so afraid of love? Why are we so afraid of intimacy?
The words lover, intimacy, romance and sex are feared, F-E-A-R-E-D!
Why, because all mean a loss of the false self. The barriers have to come down.

Our lie, our fallacies, our beliefs, all of it, the trash has got to go. Our poker faced froniting needs to be "Royally Flushed!"

How warped is our thinking when it is better respected to plant a punch and kick a kiss? I have lived and studied the Martial Arts in China, in Japan, was taught boxing from 12yrs old by my uncle who was a 3rd in the world ranked fighter and golden gloves winner, translation, I respect the arts. People, now a days because of over training one and under training the other have a better chance of landing a punch that will kill than a kiss that will swoon.

Isn’t it better and beautiful to think of that someone special? Isn’t it beautiful to think of doing something for someone you care for, to lose yourself in the process and the reverie? I know as a man to see a woman’s face light up when she receives a gift or flowers, especially as a surprise. (Valentine’s Day is kind of expected you know!) Gentlemen she would prefer to be caught off guard, surprised!
Find creative ways to give to each other. Create opportunities to give to each other. Love and Romance are kept alive by the mystery that they are. Give, Give, Give, and Live, Live, Live! Funny how they rhyme, huh?
Everybody dies but not everyone lives. GIVE!!!

Easter: When is it not a time to be reborn?

The Sufi’s say die before you die! If you save your life you lose it and if you lose your life you save it! ~ “J” The meaning, lose the false conditioned programmed, you know, the you “they” say you are, they want you to be and “Be who you are, who you really truly want to be, need to be”! The Sufi’s say, “No one gets into Heaven without Crucifixion!” They mean the false self. We hold on to such junk as humans. The best thing that could happen to someone is identity theft. Let them have it. You don’t need it. Your identity is not for you, it is created for society. Hey, if they are willing to steal your identity, hell, they should be willing to pay the rest of the credit card bill, the mortgage, car payment and life insurance that goes with your SS# as well! Imagine being reborn without all of that stuff too? Not bad huh?

Thanksgiving: When is it not a time to give thanks?
The attitude of gratitude and appreciation. What do you have to be thankful for? If you are reading this, let’s start with the fact that you can see, even if it’s through glasses or contact lenses. If you can see, oh yes, you’re alive. Yes that is another reason. Let’s just go back to the most simple of simple things, you can breathe. My teachers used to say, “No one pays attention to their breathing until they can’t!”

Memorial Day: When is it not a time to remember ?

How can we forget those we love, those who have died, those we love who have died? When is it not a time to remember yourself, your true self? Start with you. Remember yourself because you are the root of everything. To be alive is to be reverent. Remember!
