You cannot love what you do not understand!

Let’s say you have a plant. You say you "love" the plant. Since you love the plant so much, you are going to give it a lot of water. In doing so, you give that plant more water than it needs. Now the leaves turn yellow and the plant dies. You say, but I loved that plant look how much water I gave it. The problem is you didn’t understand the plant, so how could you love it the way it “needs” to be loved?

To much or too little anything create imbalance. Space and affection are both needed according to the particular needs of that particular plant or "person shall we say".
